Aliens are here 🛸

Updated: Sep 13, 2020

Today was the Area 51 Raid. For those that haven’t heard: back in June, a Facebook page was created for an event “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us.” This started as a joke with a huge following but few actually showed up at the base in Nevada.

Anywho, that got me thinking, “I wonder if there are any data science concepts that can be applied to the paranormal”. And thus began my research.

- A normal distribution is a probability distribution that is symmetric about the mean, showing that data near the mean are more frequent in occurrence than data far from the mean.

- A paranormal distribution is… well, these do not exist (or do they?) 👻

I found this interesting article that talked about creating aliens, related to Artificial Intelligence: 👉🏻Article

But what about aliens? You know, the green guys from outer space. 👽👽

I visited Kaggle to see what data was available and found a few UFO related datasets that look interesting. Further research this weekend!

How do you think data science can be applied to the paranormal? Comment below 👇🏻

Happy Learning!!
